Rewriting Our Relationship with Abundance
For many people, money is one of the deepest emotional triggers they carry.
Not because money itself is bad…
but because of the stories attached to it.
Stories inherited through childhood.
Through family patterns.
Through survival experiences.
Through generations that learned to fear not having enough.
Somewhere along the way, many of us absorbed beliefs like:
- money is stressful
- you have to work endlessly to deserve abundance
- rich people are selfish
- there is never enough
- struggle equals worthiness
- rest means laziness
- success requires sacrifice
And over time, those beliefs stop feeling like stories.
They begin feeling like truth.
But what if abundance was never meant to feel so difficult?
What if money is not something we are meant to chase in exhaustion… but something we are meant to receive in alignment?
The mantra “Making Money Is Easy” is not about avoiding responsibility or pretending effort doesn’t matter.
It’s about releasing the belief that suffering must come before abundance.
It’s about creating safety around receiving.
The Nervous System and Money
Many people do not realize that money is deeply connected to the nervous system.
If the body associates abundance with pressure, burnout, judgment, instability, or fear, it will unconsciously resist receiving more — even when the conscious mind says it wants it.
Sometimes we sabotage opportunities.
Sometimes we undercharge.
Sometimes we overwork.
Sometimes we stay stuck in scarcity because struggle feels familiar.
The body will often choose familiar survival over unfamiliar ease.
This is why mindset work alone is not always enough.
You cannot sustainably hold abundance in a body that still feels unsafe receiving it.
Healing your relationship with money is not only mental.
It is emotional.
Energetic.
Biological.
Ancestral.
The Stories We Inherited
Some money fears did not begin with us.
Many of us inherited generations of survival conditioning:
- fear of losing everything
- fear of instability
- fear of visibility
- fear of success
- fear of not being enough
- fear of rest
- fear of taking up space
We may have watched parents overwork themselves.
We may have witnessed stress every time bills arrived.
We may have learned that money creates conflict, pressure, or emotional distance.
And when those experiences repeat across generations, scarcity can become wired into the nervous system before we even understand what money means.
Sometimes we are not only healing our own relationship with abundance.
We are healing generations of survival patterns carried through the body.
That awareness is powerful.
Because when we become conscious of inherited patterns, we gain the ability to create a new experience.
Abundance Begins with Safety
Abundance is not only about income.
It is about capacity.
Can you safely receive support?
Can you safely receive rest?
Can you safely receive joy?
Can you safely receive opportunities without guilt?
Can you safely believe life wants to support you?
When the body feels safe, we stop gripping so tightly.
We stop operating only from fear.
We stop believing exhaustion is the price of success.
We stop confusing struggle with worthiness.
And from that place, abundance flows differently.
Not always through force.
But through alignment.
Creativity.
Connection.
Intuition.
Trust.
Making Money Is an Energy
Money itself is neutral.
It simply amplifies the energy behind it.
When we approach money from fear, scarcity, shame, and survival, it often creates more tension.
But when we begin healing our relationship with receiving, money becomes less about panic and more about possibility.
Abundance is not selfish.
Overflow allows us to:
- support others
- create impact
- build community
- experience freedom
- care for our bodies
- invest in healing
- live more fully
The goal is not greed.
The goal is ease.
The goal is creating a life where abundance no longer feels unsafe.
Rewriting the Story
The stories we repeat become the experiences we embody.
If we continuously say:
- money is stressful
- I’ll never have enough
- success has to be hard
- I always struggle financially
…the body listens.
But when we begin practicing new thoughts, emotions, and beliefs, we begin building new pathways.
We teach the body a new reality.
One where:
- support exists
- opportunities are available
- abundance is safe
- rest is allowed
- receiving is natural
- making money is easy
Not because life is perfect.
But because we are no longer fighting ourselves every step of the way.
A Practice to Begin
Place your hand over your heart.
Take a slow breath.
Repeat softly:
“I release the belief that abundance must come through struggle.”
“I am safe to receive.”
“Support flows to me.”
“Making money is easy.”
Notice what emotions arise.
Notice where your body tightens.
Notice where guilt, fear, shame, or scarcity still live.
Then meet those places with compassion instead of judgment.
Healing your relationship with abundance is not about becoming someone new.
It is about remembering that you were never meant to live only in survival mode.
